Lime Green Disc over Cornflower Blue

There is no empty space in this busy, vibrant painting. Frank Beanland (b. 1936) often uses overlapping circles of bright colour. He compares them to flowers seen from above. Frank developed his style in the 1960s while living in Porthleven, Cornwall with a group of other young painters.
