Lina Pan's China shirt, 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup

Lina Pan wore the number 8 shirt for China at the 2007 World Cup. A central midfielder, Pan had also represented her country in the 2003 World Cup.

Four years later at their home tournament, Lina and her teammates finished second in Group D, qualifying behind Brazil. Pan started all three of the group games, and went on to play the full ninety minutes in China's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Norway in the quarter-finals.
