Linen Summer Costume

This costume has a sporty touch and combines a waist-length fitted jacket with an only slightly flared skirt. The jacket forms a short pointed waist in the front centre. It is open aside from a band at the waist and has broad, trapezoidal lapels with a wide turndown collar. The floor length four-panel skirt forms a short train and has deep inverted pleats in the back to the sides of the hook and eye closure. A blouse would have been worn under the jacket.
