Link Celestial Navigation Trainer Building

Link Celestial Navigation Trainers were housed in large silo-like buildings like this one at Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, NJ, seen in July 1945. Though production of these facilities for the U.S. Army Air Forces, Navy, and the British Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, and Dominion air arms exceeded 100, none are known to survive today, presumably because the structures were difficult to repurpose.
