Little Red Riding Hood wall-hanging

Wall-hanging depicting Little Red Riding Hood made by Ukrainian refugee Olga Basylewycz. Little Red Riding Hood is shown walking through a forest where the Big Bad Wolf is hiding behind a tree. A variety of fabrics, including felt, and other materials such as fur have been sewn onto a United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA)-issued grey blanket. The wolf, an owl, a bird, possum, squirrel and a rabbit in the scene are all made of fur. Some of the elements are padded using a technique called stumping, and they have a three-dimensional appearance.
