There was also, and perhaps still exists, a unique terracotta copy, which was presented, with the title of L'home del cafè, at the Les Arts i els Artistes exhibition held in 1924 at the Dalmau Galleries in Barcelona, but whose Location is currently unknown.
Also known, as has been said, as The Coffee Man, this small piece modeled in negative manifests, with respect to the difficult use of said representation procedure, an initial or perhaps intermediate stage in its development, similar to that observable in Woman with a Parasol , 1921, and still denotes, as in the case of Woman in her toilette, 1921 (work in lead sheet presented at the Barcelona Art Exhibition, 1921, with the title of La toilette), the need to build the sculpture in the form of an almost compact block, relying on accessory elements of fundamentally graphic resolution, in this case the table or chair and in that case the cloth that surrounds part of the figure.
In any case, it is a very complex work plastically, regardless of its small size, or perhaps because of it.
