While majorelle's furniture often appears massive and heavy, this Guéridon is notable for its lightness and ornamental decoration in the form of brass fittings. A Guéridon is a small table supported by one or more columns or sculptural human or mythological figures, often with a circular top. Majorelles table is characterised by three slightly curved legs, a false floor and a top in the shape of a triple pass.
