My piece is a one minute video of my holiday in Mallorca with my family and our best family friends. It shows our time away from the pandemic and how we cherished every single moment of living in the present. I wrote a poem behind the video to express how it made me think and feel and to show that you have to take any opportunity in life and not take it for granted. I made this piece because from what I have learnt is that no matter how scary things can be you have to make the most of what you have, even if some things have changed. For me and from what I have experienced is that the friendship and laughter that you have has never changed. I wanted to make this video to remind everyone that no matter what is happening wether it is good or bad, every single minute of every day makes new memories which you will remember for life. I was inspired by our adventures away and looking back on how we had the best time during the pandemic, not thinking about the past or future.

This piece is part of Company Three's One Minute in the Middle of a Pandemic challenge and was created as part of Arts Council England's The Way I See It project which captures the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the lives of children and young people, articulated in their own voices, through their own creativity.

Company Three, is a theatre company based in Islington, North London and is a leading force for change for teenagers in its community and around the world.
