The living room of designer Yves Saint Laurent's home in Paris. A large rug, decorated with concentric circles of tropical birds, covers much of the floor. A massive abstract sculpture of a bird on a pedestal stands against one wall, and a narwhal tusk leans against the wall between two windows opposite it. Above a couch at the end of the room hangs a painting by Jean Dunand depicting a jungle scene. Flanking the couch are a pair of large black and gold urns atop black pedestals.
