The carpeted hexagonal conversation pit in the living room of the Oklahoma home of pipeline engineer Joe Price and his wife, Etsuko, designed by Bruce Goff. Above the pit, banners of plastic "rain" descend from the skylight, screening incoming light. At the center of the pit is a hexagonal table framed in tiger-wood and topped with an abstract geometric mosaic. A matching square console sits outside the pit, holding a television. Tilted square windows allow more light from the outside. Gold and black hexagonal stools with green cushions sit on the polished tile floor outside the carpeted area. At the back of the room is a large abstract painting by Bruce Goff.
