The living room of the Palazzo Odescalchi in Rome, redesigned by Giorgio Pes and Roberto Federici, and filled with contemporary American artworks.
The walls and celing are lacquered in white, and the floor is covered in beige carpeting. At the foreground is one of the beige suede banquettes in the conversation pit. Immediately behind it is a steel sculpture by Beverly Pepper. A large painting by Robert Motherwell is on the far wall, overhanging a brown suede banquette accompanied by a pair of travertine tables. To the right of the Motherwell painting, a sculpture by Louise Nevelson stands near the corner.
