The living room of the Palazzo Odescalchi in Rome, redesigned by Giorgio Pes and Roberto Federici, and filled with contemporary American artworks.
The walls and celing are lacquered in white, and the floor is covered in beige carpeting. Beige suede banquettes line the conversation pit, surrounding a lucite coffee table and facing the fireplace, over which hangs Roy Lichtenstein's "Engagement Ring" (1961). A steel sculpture by Beverly Pepper sits in the middle of the floor. On the far wall hangs Andy Warhol's "Orange Car Crash" (1963). The doors in the corner are made of brown Perspex with an abstract design by Jean-Claude Fahri.
