Logo Design of the Book Series "Biblioteka Złotego Liścia" Addressed to Children and Young People

The design of the logo of the Biblioteka Złotego Liścia [Golden Leaf Library] series published by Nasza Księgarnia in 1967–1989. The series was mainly addressed to children and young people. The graphic design, created by Leon Urbański, referred to classical editions. The book was furnished with a ribbon for marking pages. Urbański’s design had an educational purpose – to teach children and young people respect for books as a tangible product. The copy is hand-made, using ink and sticking techniques.
