In this deceptively simple etching (one of five Garber prints purchased through the Priscilla Payne Hurd Fund in 1989) Garber again makes a single tree the focus of the work. Its graceful branches extend and intertwine, reaching to the far corners of the composition. The fence and foreground are purposely downplayed, focusing the viewer's eye on the solitary beauty of the lone tree.
