A linocut by the Angolan / Namibian artist John Muafangejo (1943-1987) titled Lonely Man, completed in 1974. It is a self portrait by the artist showing him making his linocuts alone while others are partying and dancing in groups. Short Biography: John Ndevasia Muafangejo was born in 1943 in Etunda lo Nghadi, Angola. He studied at Rorke's Drift in KwaZulu Natal in 1969 after working as a teacher in Odibo. He moved to Windhoek in 1977. He died on 27 November 1987 in Katutura Township in Windhoek, Namibia.
