Obverse: Bust of Henry III with legend 'hENRICVS:REX'.

Reverse: Long cross with legend 'ANG/LIE/TER/CI'.

The crown is identical to the one used on coins of class IVa (single band with a large pellet at each end and a large central fleur). The obverse legend of this class contains a design consisting of a star with a crescent shape below it preceding the 'h' in 'hENRICVS'. The King's beard on the obv. is indicated by two rows of three pellets each with a large central pellet at the beard's tip.
