Looking Out

From the Artist: The artwork, “Looking Out,” was created in May 2020 after the lock down began and the world seemed so uncertain. A young woman looks out through a window to a world that is no longer what it was, is blurred and obscured by the plague, confusion, and hysteria. She longs to go outside, but there’s no place to go and no one can see anyone else. So she stays home and dresses up for Instagram, always returning to the window, hoping to see signs of life.
