Loop

The famous Batasia loop, where the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway circles to gain traction before negotiating a steeper climb on its way to Ghum. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway has three loops; the first one is at Chunbati and the second loop also called Agony Point is at Tindharia. Batasia loop is the third and the most famous one mainly due to the breathtaking view of Darjeeling provided by Batasia Hill.
