Lopez-Alegria, Expedition 14 commander and NASA space station science officer, attired in his Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) spacesuit, is photographed through a window of the Quest Airlock on the interior of the International Space Station. Astronaut Sunita L. Williams (out of frame), flight engineer, and Lopez-Alegria were about to begin the final of three sessions of extravehicular activity (EVA) in nine days, as construction continues on the International Space Station.
