Once a part of Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin's Rancho Santa Anita, the expansive Los Angeles County Arboretum is a great opportunity for weary Route 66 travelers to get out, stretch their legs in a beautiful environment, and encounter some peacocks! They can also visit several historic structures, including Baldwin’s 1880s Queen Anne Cottage (seen here).
