Lost City, Living Memories: Vanport Through Voices of Its Residents - screening

Part of the 2nd Vanport Mosaic Festival in May 2017, a screening of Lost City, Living Memories: Vanport Through the Voice of its Residents, featuring selected community-produced short oral history documentaries.

Since 2015, we have worked closely with former residents and flood survivors in their 80s and 90s. Through an ongoing oral history project directed by Story Midwife Laura Lo Forti, we collected over 60 interviews, the largest collection of memories about life in Vanport, the flood, and its aftermath.
