Loup a Roulette is a work by the French artist Sebastien Feraut (Paris, France, 1975), aka Niark1. His pictorial universe is made up of unusual monsters, large insects and strange werewolves superimposed on saturated backgrounds bursting with colour. The artist maintains a strong archive of his references in his aesthetic: his works reflect the importance that David Lynch, Francis Bacon and 80s horror films have had in his praxis. Likewise, Niark1's canvases, full of skulls, sinister looks and terrifying creatures, are structured by an inexhaustible preciousness that fills his personal imaginary with details and psychotropic shadows.
