Two of these glass Lubin Perfume bottles were recovered from the remains of a townhouse at 184 Adelaide Street during the Stage Four excavation of the Bishop’s Block Site in Toronto. The 2007 excavation saw 69 894 artifacts recovered. These glass bottles came from Townhouse Four, which was built circa 1860 and operated as a boarding house for much of the last quarter of the 19th century. They are typical of the personal items found in its assemblage.
