The small work of the famous French actress Lucie Gérard (1872-1941) was done for a series in a book called 'Our Actresses' (Nos Actrices) published in 1899 by De La Revue Blanche in Paris. Short Biography: Leonetto Cappiello was born in 1875 in Livorno, Tuscany in Italy. He practised poster art in Paris for most of his life and is today called the Father of modern advertising.
