Lucinda Point - The Port to the Herbert River

CSR built a wharf on the Herbert River on land it purchased from Anderssen. Increasing siltation made the river unnavigable and so the company extended its tramway in 1896 from Ingham to the new port at Lucinda in Queensland, Australia.
