KArtLeeny says: "Lucy is a carer who looks after vulnerable people with MS, Dementia and Cancer in our local area. She makes multiple visits during the day at all hours, to people in their homes, providing specialist care. She brings friendship and a ray of sunshine to their day! Lucy is a hero to those she supports but especially in these recent months, during the pandemic, where not only physical but emotional support, has been important more than ever. I was inspired to paint her as she is a true hero and wanted to show appreciation for her hard work, sacrifice and dedication to helping people in need."
