The United States Open Championship, commonly known as the U.S. Open, is the annual open golf tournament of the United States. The venue for the event changes yearly and the golf courses in the rotation are condsidered the best, and therefore most difficult, in the world. One of these, often used in the present day, is the course at Pebble Beach, California, officially known as "Pebble Beach Golf Links." The course, hugging the rugged coast on the sough side of the Monter ey Peninsula, is also considered one of the most beautiful in the world. As of 2011, the last U.S. Open played at Pebble Beach happened in 2010.
The donor purchased this luggage tag, a souvenir of his visit, during a visit to Pebble Beach in 2010. He played golf there, in part so he could say he played at Pebble Beach.
