Lusterware Bowl

Ceramics, such as bowls, plates and jars, were a common commodity traded across the Indian Ocean or given as gifts. Ceramics break easily, so often broken sherds of pottery survive as evidence of past trade and connections. Complete vessels, like these however, are rare survivors.
