Portrait of Giuseppe Biumi

Giuseppe Biumi (1749-1838), noble, doctor of law, prefect of Pavia and inspector general of finances, was well known for economising on everything, even on paper, using the backs of the used envelopes, to write, he nominated 'Ospedale Maggiore as heir, but the undated testament comes through an anonymous depositary, two years after his death.
