From the 1936 Bees Seeds Catalogue, p.27. The seed and nursery firm 'Bees Ltd.' was founded by the cotton broker Arthur Kilpin Bulley (1861-1942). He engaged the plant collectors George Forrest, Francis Kingdon-Ward and Roland Edgar Cooper to collect plants for his garden in Neston, Cheshire, England.
