M-69 81mm Mortar Training Round

Many OSS training exercises in the park utilized live ammunition as the agents were trained in weaponry. This propellant tip of a mortar training round was discovered in the root mound of a recently fallen tree in the park. There is a 1 cm lip on one end that fits into the explosive part of the rocket.
