Bust turned to the right. The portrait was created by Jan Styfi, a renowned wood engraver from Warsaw, a distinguished xylographer, creator, and organizer of wood engraving workshops in Warsaw, and a pedagogue. The print comes from one of the pages of the weekly illustrated magazine „Kłosy“, published between 1865 and 1890 in the Kingdom of Poland, dedicated to literature, science, and art. The magazine stood out for its high graphic quality and was among the most interesting illustrated publications of the 19th century.
