Made from wood, this peti is cladded with brass sheets. The brass sheets are ornamented with floral veil patterns using a combination of piercing and stamping techniques. Now a part of the South Asia Collection Museum, peti like these were originally used by Shekhawati brides to store clothes and jewellery.
