  • Biography: Nilo Zack is a graffiti writer since 2004. Studied Animation Cinema and Digital Arts in Federal de Minas Geras University, Brazil. He’s now studying Cinema and Multimedia Design in Beira Interior University, Covilhã, Portugal. His main works are in the streets, avenues, public and private spaces, distributed at Belo Horizonte and other Brazilian metropolises. His traits demonstrates great identity, currently he focus his work in figurative image, in particular the realism. Also stands out for his participation and coordinating some important interventions in the city, some of them are: the Semana do Meio Ambiente, sponsored by SINPRO_MG, which along with other artists painted canvas on Praça Sete (one of the central hubs of Belo Horizonte) and also the first graffiti intervention by womens of Minas Geriais, coproduced by his crew . Nilo Zack also develops art activities in socio-educational workshops, in partnership with NGO’s, private companies (as FIAT) and government agencies such as SEDS. He is the founder of CTOR-9 Crew, a group created originally with the goal to promote the demands of art in their community (Taquaril) and it was soon recognized by the different artistic actions in the city and promoting meetings of graffiti. He participated in important meetings and national exhibitions such as: 1st International Biennal of Graffiti of Belo Horizonte/Brazil in 2008; 1st International Meeting of Graffiti in Bahia/Brazil at the same year, and the Meeting of the Streets at Dance Festival of Joinville, SC/Brazil in 2009, among many others.
