The master of this mace remains unknown. The mace is a cold, blunt weapon used to deliver powerful strikes and a symbol of power in some countries. This exhibit of the XVII century comes from Poland. It is impressively decorated: the mace is finished with precious stones and gold. It is a beautiful jewellery filigree.
