Madhubani Painting of Bihar: Community - Madhubani railway station

Apart from all the painted houses in Jitwarpur and around, Madhubani railway station stands uniquely apart. It is completely painted from inside and outside by a group of Madhubani painters, which were commissioned by the local government authorities. Every wall depicts a mythological story done in the traditional style.
