Madonna and Child with John

Painting, in round decorative gilt wooden frame, depicts a seated Madonna and child with John the
Baptist. The original work was done by Raphael about early 16th Century A.D. It is called Madonna
Della Sedia and also called Madonna della Seggiola. Mary is embracing the child Christ, while the
young John the Baptist devoutly watches. It is the copy of the original now in Pitti Palace, Florence,
Italy.
