A pioneering work, if it could be termed that: the artist who created this iconography has incorporated all the three deities, Lakshmi, Ganesha and Saraswati in a single frame. Stunningly, this has gone on to become one of the most popularly worshipped images though not necessarily in the same pose/stance. Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity, Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and learning and Ganapathi, the remover of all obstacles is commonly found in most Hindu homes.
A common factor in all of Madura Mills Co., Ltd. created calendars are images of gods and goddesses.
