Magnificent Michelangelo

In this chiaroscuro we find summarised some episodes that enhance the greatness of Michelangelo, seen as charity against the State, the Church and the population. In the foreground, Michelangelo refusing the money that is offering to him by a cardinal; in the middle the artist himself gives money to some poor young women for their dowry; in the background, are depicted statues of the mausoleum of Giulio II that Mcihelangelo gave to Roberto Strozzi.
