In the foreground, Michelangelo refusing the money that is offering to him by a cardinal; in the middle the artist himself gives money to some poor young women for their dowry; in the background, are depicted statues of the mausoleum of Giulio II that Mcihelangelo gave to Roberto Strozzi.
