The tombstone of Mah Laqa Chanda reads "Chanda Bibi, daughter of Raj Kunwar Bai upon whom was conferred the title of Mah Laqa Bai by His Highness Nawab Ghufraan Maab Asaf Jaah II, Mir Nizam Ali Khan prepared this in 1231 A.H. (1815 A.D.) dedicating it to Maula Ali."
