Main door, Plaza del Mercado

It has been said that the sculptures adorning this doorway, among which we can find an image of the Virgin Mary with Jesus in her arms, create the impression of entering a place of worship rather than of business. A narrow, stone column divides the doorway into two and each door is covered with a beautifully-decorated metallic plate dating back to 1532.
