Main Entrance Hall

The Entrance Hall is where the Imperial Family and the Prime Minister greet arriving guests.The Rouge-de-France marble on the walls came from France and were installed during the extensive renovation in the Shōwa period. These reddish-brown pillars with black spots made from French granite are the original pillars from the first construction of the building.
