Even today, people of Tokyo become excited when there is a festival. In June 2015, Uogashi Suijin Mikoshi (portable strine carried on the shoulder) of Kanda Shrine joined the main festival of Namiyoke Shrine. Since it was a collaboration which only happened when Tsukiji Market first opened, the festival was full with excitement.
