The building of the Wrocław Główny railway station is one of the most characteristic and interesting buildings in the capital of Lower Silesia.
The station was built in 1855-1857. The author of the project was Wilhelm Grapow, Royal Builders of Upper Silesian Railways. The nearly two-hundred-meter-high, two-story building was in the mid-nineteenth century the most magnificent German railway station.
