Majestic Hotel

View of the Majestic Hotel, an ornate stone building designed by Ar. W.A. Chambers in 1909. This Indo Saracenic building was commissioned to function as a luxurious hotel. It also boasted of the city's very first elevator. It is now a multi-use structure, housing a hostel for members of the State Legislative Assembly, a supermarket and restaurant.

This building is a part of 'The Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai', a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was inscribed to the list on June 30, 2018.
