Women portion the flatbread (qurus). The bread must be eaten sakhena fish.

Sakhena is a fish dish enjoyed during the Eid. As people that are fasting do not have the habit of eating fish, it is immediately enjoyed during the Eid celebrations ending the holy month of Ramadan. Sakhena is made by frying fish, then baking it in a sauce made with onion and tomatoes in a clay pot (tagen). In Nubian communities they also add apricots. Sakhena is eaten with fresh bread.
