Male Mask

The enormous nose of this mask resembles the long beak of a local species of hornbill birds. The hair arrangement imitates a once fashionable style and the projections between ear and eye show a type of scarification. This form of body ornamentation is created by cutting shallow patterns into the skin and allowing scars to form.
