Man's coat

Man's coat of cotton, painted and mordant dyed. Patterns of many groups of small figures, arranged on little "islands" of color, - hunters, woman with child, man on camel, one elephant, birds, trees, buildings with pointed towers. In colors of red, blue, yellow, green, brown. Figures are small, two inches or less. Repeat about 15" long. The style is long and flaring; deep opening collar to waist, fastened with two small buttons. Opening for hands at sides, 10" long. Sleeves long, pointed, fastened elbow to end with loops and buttons. Trimmed with red cotton; lined with cream-white cotton.
