Native tanned one piece leather upper w/added tongue & cuff. Rawhide sole. Sinew sewn. Thong tie. Cuff edge notched. Beaded border: med. blue grnd w/stepped triangles: faceted black/white /red; band extends up heel. Vamp plaited quillwork: 12 horiz bands red quilling. Heel: 10 vert bands red quilling. Both mocs signed on instep "V.W./Vernon Winkle". On left moc "Sioux." Attached to moc., brass tag numbered "55." Quilling, plaited; beads lazystitch.
